Today we have celebrated Lohri together with kids coming for education in our NGO. As we all know that Lohri is the cheerful festival of punjabi's also known as harvest festival which brings good luck, happiness, and prosperity in lives off all. People of Punjab, Haryana, Utter Pradesh and other states of North India celebrate this festival with great grandeur. On the celebration day of Lohri, people gather around bonfire and throw sweets, popcorns, and puffed rice in the flame and also sing songs moving around the fire. This festival tells us all "we must give to get" and you must sow the seed before you can reap the harvest. We have spent a great time with all our kids and celebrated Lohri with cheer and joy. May Lohri brings lots of happiness and fortune in your life so "HAPPY LOHRI" to you all.
